Mission Statement

MWADB is the official of the Metro Washington Association of the Deaf-Blind, an organization of people who are Deaf-Blind and their friends.

The purpose of MWADB is to encourage, recognize and promote the needs of Deaf-Blind people in the metropolitan Washington area in the pursuit of economic security, social equality, access to community resources and privileges as citizens via community, leadership, communication and mobility and technology.
