MINNESOTA DEAFBLIND CAMP 2010

Dear Friend,

Good News! The Minnesota DeafBlind Association is proudly hosting a first-ever Minnesota DeafBlind Camp. We look forward to meeting each other at the Minnesota DeafBlind Camp - Camp Confidence in Brainerd, MN for a fun-filled weekend including "hand-on outdoor and recreation experiences such as boating, hiking, kayaking, fishing, crafts, games, and more. The camp is addressed at 1620 Fawcett Memorial Drive, Brainerd MN 56401.

Date: September 9-12, 2010

Begins Thursday (Registration from 2:00 - 5:00 pm). Ends Sunday (10:00 am)

Camper Fee (pays for room, meals, bus ride, and on-site activities): For members, the camper fee is $100. For non-members, the camper fee is $115.

Application Deadline: August 6, 2010

If you would like to come to the first-ever Minnesota DeafBlind Camp, please fill out all the forms in this application packet and mail it to us as soon as possible.the sooner the better.

We will have SSPs (Support Service Providers) at Camp. If you have your own SSP who would like to attend, please let us know the SSP's name and address so we can send that person the SSP application to be filled out.

2010 DB EXPO

Date: OCT. 9, 2010

Time: 10 A.M. TO 4 P.M.

Location: Dept. of Human Services Andersen Building, 540 Cedar St., St. Paul, Minnesota (10TH. ST. AND CEDAR ST.)

Transportation funding is available for those outside the Twin Cities Metro area where local buses / Metro Mobility do not serve.
